Aer Lingus Aer Lingus was founded in 1936 with its first service between Baldonnel Airfield near Dublin and Bristol Airport. The first aircraft was a de Havilland DH.84 Dragon named Iolar (EI-ABI) The design has a deliberate 'aged effect'. Sweat Shirts are made from 80% ringspun cotton and 20% polyester.
